Wadsworth police investigating theft of used car batteries

Authorities in Wadsworth continue to investigate the theft of a cache of used car batteries from the Walmart in Wadsworth. According to Wadsworth police, the theft took place on December 21^st around 11 p.m. when three suspects were seen on film cutting the lock off a fence at the store to gain access to the outdoor area to access the battery cart. The suspects loaded roughly 25 batteries into a U-Haul before driving off. Authorities are currently waiting on security footage from the store to gain more details about the theft as the investigation continues.
