The Salvation Army in Wadsworth has begun the process of either building a new headquarters or expanding the current building. Wadsworth’s Planning Commission gave the go ahead for the Salvation Army to consolidate three lots that were already owned by the organization. One of those lots houses the current facility, while the other two have houses on them that will be torn down in the near future and sit directly to the east of the facility. The Salvation Army is looking to build a new 9,600 square foot facility, which at its most expensive would cost roughly $3 million.
