A new noise ordinance will take effect at the end of the month in Wadsworth. The ordinance is the first passed by the city in nearly 40 years. Quiet zones will be established in the city from 10 p.m. to 7 a.m. weekdays and 11 p.m. to 8 a.m. on the weekends. A scale was also set up by the city to classify first and second offenses as minor misdemeanors, a third offense in 12 months would be a third degree misdemeanor. The ordinance goes into effect October 31st.
