The Wooster Ashland Regional Council of Governments has found its next director for the dispatch center. WARCOG’s board unanimously selected Wooster Fire Department Captain Rhodes Walter as the new director of the dispatch center. Walter’s appointment begins immediately but for now will just be on a part time basis until he retired from Wooster fire in December, then he will become director on a full time basis. Wooster Fire Chief Barry Saley, who has acted as director since last year, will help Walter transition into the directors role.
