Water line break in Marshallville fixed, boil alert issued

A water main break yesterday morning in Marshallville left some of the village’s residents without water for several hours.  The break occurred along South Main Street and resulted in residents losing water for about five hours, until the line could eventually be repaired.  Affected residents are reminded though that a water boil alert remains in effect until at least mid-day today.  In the meantime, those individuals affected are advised to boil any water they plan to drink or use for cooking.
