Water rates in the city of Medina are going to rise this year. Avon Lake Regional Water, who is contracted to supply water to Medina until 2053, is raising the rates on July 1st this year. The increase will be just over 4%, which will equate to customers seeing a sixty cent increase in their bill. The water rate will take another 3% jump next year.
