The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office is now using a digital neighborhood watch app to try and keep the community a safer place.  The “Neighbors app”, by doorbell camera maker Ring, will allow the sheriff’s office to provide real-time crime and safety alerts, while users can also post anonymous tips.  Anyone can sign up for the app, even those without a doorbell camera.  The sheriff’s office says its use of the app already helped prevent one potential break-in last week, at a home on Back Orrville road.
