Wayne County’s health care workers and EMTs have begun getting their COVID-19 vaccinations. Wooster Community Hospital started vaccinating its staff members on Tuesday, beginning with the employees that work directly with patients. The hospital says it plans to vaccinate 120 people a day, two to three times a week, eventually working its way down to employees in administration and billing. Aultman Orrville Hospital, meanwhile, began vaccinating its employees last week, while the Wayne County Health Department started giving the vaccine to local EMTs yesterday.
