The Wayne County Board of Elections will be holding an open house tonight, from 5-7:30pm. Visitors will get the chance to take a “behind the scenes” tour and try out the county’s new voting machines, which will be used for the very first time in the November general election. Today, by the way, is also the deadline for people to register to vote in next month’s election.
