The Wayne County Commissioners awarded a contract with ZoneCo to do a zoning consult for the county. ZoneCo will work with MS Consultants on the project, which is designed to modify and manage subdivision regulations that will help address irregular lots in Wayne County and encourage and require open space in subdivisions. According to the EPA an open space is an undeveloped piece of land in an urban area that is accessible to the public that protects a community’s green space. ZoneCO was awarded nearly $65,000 for the project.
