Wayne County Commissioners have approved a resolution to accept a state grant that will provide funds that will be used to help recruit and hire first responders.  The money comes from the American Rescue Plan Act and is being distributed through the Ohio Emergency Management Agency.  The county actually applied for the grant more than a year ago, but was just recently informed by the state that its application had been approved.  Commissioners say they have yet to be told how much money the grant will be for.
