Wayne County Commissioners are considering a resolution that would restrict power companies who are looking to build large wind and solar projects in the incorporated parts of the county.  The resolution would prohibit companies from building renewable energy facilities greater than 50 megawatts without first seeking the approval of property owners, school districts, township officials and county commissioners.  Commissioners say the resolution, if approved, could be repealed or modified at any time to fit future circumstances.  Commissioners are expected to vote on the resolution next month.
