The Wayne County Community Foundation’s board of trustees recently approved more than $460,000 in grants, which will be distributed to 25 area nonprofit organizations. The funds are being made available through the foundation’s competitive grants cycle, along with its women’s fund and children’s resource fund. Since its formation in 1978, the Wayne County Community Foundation has handed out more than $108 million in grants and scholarships.
