A deputy with the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office was recently recognized at the state level for her work as a school resource officer.  Deputy Jodi Kauffman, who serves as a resource officer for the Triway Local School District, was one of only two SROs in the entire state to receive this year’s Stand Out Award from Gov. Mike DeWine.  The award was presented to Kauffman during the annual Ohio School Safety Summit, which was held last week in Columbus.  Kauffman has served as a school resource officer for the Triway district since 2018.
