The Wayne County auditor will have dog tags on sale beginning Dec. 1 through Jan. 31. A dog license has an assigned ID number that identifies the owner should the dog go missing or get separated from its owner.
Ohio law maintains all dogs over 3 months old and owned for more than 30 days are required to be licensed.
Renewal applications will be mailed out while licenses also can be renewed online at waynecountydoglicense.com.
Applications for new licenses are available on the website and can be mailed back to Wayne County Auditor’s Office in Wooster.
