Wayne County is set to receive more than $22 million as part of the federal government’s $1.9 trillion American Rescue Plan, while the county’s cities and villages will also be getting some much appreciated funding.  The county will receive its money directly from the U.S. Treasury Department, while cities and villages will get their share through the state.  Among Wayne County’s cities, Wooster will get $5 million, Orrville $1.6 million and Rittman $1.2 million.  Funding for the county’s villages will range from $30,000 on the low end all the way up to $600,000.
