The Wayne County Health Department has extended the county’s COVID-19 Public Health Advisory. The advisory was originally issued on November 23rd and was set to expire Monday but has now been extended until January 4th. The precautions listed in the original advisory remain the same, the county continues to ask those that can stay home to stay home, wear a mask and social distance when you go out, avoid crowded areas, and wash your hands regularly. The county is also recommending having no guests inside your home and for the public to become familiar with the symptoms of the virus.
