The Wayne County Humane Society held an event last weekend in which 100 feral cats were spayed or neutered. The free trap, neuter and return event was organized as a direct response to the increasing number of feral cats in the county, especially Wooster and Orrville. 11 area veterinarians, 12 vet technicians, and four Wayne County Humane Society staff members volunteered their time and expertise for the event, which took place on Sunday morning.
