The Wayne County Park District has named its Volunteer of the Year.  This year’s winner of the award, which is handed out each January, is Craig Sanders.  Park District officials say Sanders was chosen for his contributions to the Barnes Preserve, in Wooster.  Sanders and his fellow Kiwanis members built a large Americans with Disabilities Act observation deck overlooking Kohler’s Wetland Pond. They also constructed 600 feet of boardwalk for the mulched trails at the preserve.
