In an effort to better educate area residents about cultural and racial history, the Wayne County Public Library is being donated 100 books from the Wayne County Racial Justice Coalition. The local advocacy group partnered with both the library and Buckeye Book Fair to make the donation of books that explore diverse issues and topics possible. 75 books are being donated to the library with the other 25 being purchased with grant money from Buckeye Book Fair. According to organizers behind the donation, the outreach effort was a byproduct of the coalition’s daily protests in downtown Wooster starting last May.
