Wayne County is now one of Ohio’s orange counties. Following a recent spike in the number of reported coronavirus cases, the Ohio Public Health Advisory Board changed the county’s color from yellow to orange. Wayne County’s health commissioner says the change was due to the county exceeding 50 cases of the virus per 100,000 people. In the past three weeks, Wayne County has reported 61 new cases of COVID-19.
