The Wayne-Holmes Crisis Intervention Team was recently honored as Program of the Year. The honor was given to the program at the Ohio CIT State Conference in Columbus last week. CIT training helps law enforcement to be able to better deal with those that have mental illness. Twenty seven local officers will take part in the upcoming CIT training, which is a 40 hour program that begins October 28th.
