Waynedale student dies from car accident injuries

16-year old Deegan Bee, the Waynedale student involved in a head-on collision this past weekend in Medina County, passed away yesterday morning at Akron Children’s Hospital.  The crash took place Sunday morning on Friendsville Road, near the intersection with U.S. Route 224.  Bee was reportedly attempting to pass another vehicle on a double yellow line when the crash occurred.  The other vehicle’s driver, along with her two young children, all suffered serious, but non-life-threatening injuries.  The Southeast Local School District will be holding a public gathering tomorrow morning at Fredericksburg Presbyterian Church, from 10am to 1pm, to give students and community members the opportunity to come together and grieve.
