The Wayne County Community Foundation has handed out its annual Friend of Philanthropy award. This year’s recipients are Richard and Judy Seaman of the Seaman Corporation. The Seamans were honored Wednesday night at the community foundation’s annual dinner, which was held at Wooster’s Greystone Event Center. In accepting the award, the couple continued with their philanthropic efforts, asking the Wayne County Community Foundation to donate $1,000 on their behalf to the group that is in the process of restoring the old Lyric Theater in downtown Wooster.
