The Wooster City School District’s board of education has approved the district’s master facilities plan, along with a contract with the Ohio Facilities Construction Commission. Even with last night’s approval, Superintendent Gabe Tudor says the plan can continue to be changed and the vote only locks the district into the co-funding amount from the state. With the funding amount locked in, Tudor says the board can now take the next steps needed in finalizing the plan. As part of its deal with the state, the district has up to 13 months to secure its portion of the funding.
