Two students at the Wayne County Schools Career Center were kept home on Monday as school administrators investigated a pair of related incidents. The first reportedly involved a student’s behavior in a girls’ restroom, which led to a second incident where a student allegedly threatened to shoot another student. As a safety precaution, all students at the career center had to walk through metal detectors yesterday and were not allowed to leave their classrooms by themselves. The student who allegedly made the threat could potentially face criminal charges for inciting panic.
