The West Holmes School District will soon be getting back to in-person learning. According to Superintendent John Thomas, the district will go back to a regular learning schedule after the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday on Monday. The return follows the district being on a remote learning schedule since December, but after the protocols dealing with COVID 19 changed throughout the state the district felt it was the right time to go back to in-person learning. Teachers in the district will begin to be given the COVID-19 vaccine on Fridays starting in February, and the district will be on early dismissals on Fridays until all staff have been given both doses of the vaccine.
