As the Coronavirus vaccine rollout continues across the state, area school teachers and staff are beginning to receive their shots. On Friday, teachers and staff for West Holmes Local Schools were able to get the first dose of their COVID-19 vaccine. Superintendent John Thomas said roughly 200 school district employees registered for vaccination, which accounts for nearly 65% of the district’s eligible workforce. The Holmes County General Health District administered the shots during 15-minute intervals from 9am until noon.
