West Salem man killed in I-71 crash

A one-vehicle accident yesterday afternoon in Medina County’s Guilford Township claimed the life of a West Salem man.  57-year old Thomas Gaydosh was southbound on I-71 when his vehicle went off the right side of the highway, hit an embankment and then struck the side of an overpass.  According to the Highway Patrol, Gaydosh, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene.  The crash remains under investigation.
