With calls pertaining to the coronavirus on the decline over the past several weeks, The United Way of Wayne and Holmes Counties’ WHIRE hotline is resuming its normal hours of operation. Beginning today, the hotline’s hours are once again Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm. Since mid-March, when the United Way teamed up with Wayne County’s health department and emergency management agency, the hotline has had extended hours to field questions concerning COVID-19.
