Perry Township Police in Stark County say that they have arrested a man who allegedly murdered a woman that is originally from Smithville. According to the report, police were called to a home on New Year’s Day in 3600 block of Brairdale Drive Northwest, and found 48-year-old Leah Zweidinger deceased in the front yard of the property. Zweidinger had been living in Akron. 47-year-old Lee Greenwalt of Massillon was immediately arrested at the scene and has been charged with murder and felonious assault. Perry Township Police continue to investigate what exactly happened.
