Wooster and Ashland County receiving grant money to help with low income housing repairs

The city of Wooster and Ashland County will each be receiving a housing repair grant to help fix up the homes of low income residents. The funding is being made available through the state’s Community Housing Impact and Preservation Program.  Wooster, which is teaming up with Rittman and Orrville for a rehabilitation project, will receive around $950,000, while Ashland County is being given $750,000.
