The city of Wooster’s proposed industrial park could soon have its first tenant.  The Wooster Brush Company is planning to use part of the site for a major expansion project.  Wooster Brush is seeking a 10-year 75% tax abatement to build a new distribution and manufacturing facility.  The roughly 500,000 square-foot facility would reportedly cost between $13 and $19 million to build.  Because the abatement request is for more than 50%, the Wooster City School District will need to give its approval before the project can move forward.
