The Wooster City School District’s expenditures for fiscal year 2024 are a bit higher than they were a year ago.  According to the district’s treasurer, who spoke at this week’s school board meeting, expenses are estimated at just under $68 million, which is roughly $4.5 million more than last year.  Treasurer Amy Welty says the larger number is due to a number of factors, including salary and benefit increases, as well as renovations to the district’s swimming pool.
