The Wooster City School District will be closed on April 8th for the total solar eclipse. Superintendent Gabe Tudor announced at the school board’s most recent meeting that the off day will be considered one of the district’s five calamity days, no different than a snow day. The district says announcements and parent alerts will be sent out as reminders closer to the event.
