Wooster City Council is considering purchasing around 140 acres of land on the city’s east side.  A resolution to approved the purchase was introduced this week.  The land is just north of the Daisy Brand facility between Melrose Drive and Geyers Chapel road.   The purchase could lead to the city’s first publicly owned industrial park. The price tag is just over two million dollars which is currently under market value.  The land already has access to city water and sewer services.
