City council members in Wooster have approved next year’s budget.  Council signed off on the 2023 budget during its meeting on Monday night.  The budget includes, at $38 million, the highest budgeted capital investment in the city’s history. The previous record being $22 million.  Much of that money will go toward major improvement projects like upgrading the city’s water and wastewater facilities.  Other expenses in the New Year will include roughly $7 million worth of renovations to Fire Station One.
