Wooster City Council voted to annex four parcels of land into the city during its meeting on Monday. The four parcels, which are owned already by the city and the Wooster City School District, sit along Oak Hill Road near Oldman Road in Wayne Township. The petition for annexation was submitted back in April and was approved by the Wayne County Commissioners. With the land now being within the city limits it will receive police and fire services, which was the main reason for the annexation request. Council also passed a new parking ordinance that will restrict the parking of commercial and recreational vehicles on city streets in front of a person’s residence.
