Council members in Wooster have approved a measure that will add nearly $300,000 to the cost of renovating one of the city’s fire stations.  The measure modifies the city’s contract with the architectural firm handling the renovation of Wooster Fire Station #1.  According to the city, the added costs resulted from the scope of the project expanding, meaning the architects had to head back to the drawing board to create a more cost-efficient structure.  The additional money brings the project’s total cost to just over $5.5 million.
