City Council members in Wooster have approved legislation that will allow more manufactured homes to be placed in certain residential zones, including mobile home parks.  The decision came after a nearly one-hour public hearing last night, where supporters and opponents of the legislation argued their cases for and against.  Supporters say the legislation will provide more affordable housing options, while city administrators argued it could place Wooster in legal limbo, because there are no clearly defined property maintenance standards for manufactured homes.  The measure will affect two mobile home parks in Wooster, one on Melrose Drive, the other on Mechanicsburg Road.
