Wooster council to consider CAB tax abatement request

At their meeting this evening, council members in Wooster are expected to vote on a tax abatement request for Certified Angus Beef.  CAB is reportedly hoping to use the 10-year, 50% abatement to build a new 18,000 square-foot print shop and warehouse across the street from its campus at the north end of Wooster.  Should council sign off on the abatement, it would still need the approval of county commissioners.
