A development company recently sold three parcels of land at the north end of Wooster.  According to Wooster officials, the sales show progress is being made in eventually bringing a Meijer and Menards to the city.  The roughly 44 acres of land were sold for a combined $8.2 million, with two of the parcels sold to Meijer and the other one to Menards.  Before any construction work can take place though, the city will need to extend utility lines to the land, along with sewer and water lines.  While there is no time line in place yet, a second roundabout will also, at some point, be installed on Burbank Road, about 600 feet north of the existing roundabout at state Route 83 and Smithville Western Road, to address the anticipated increased traffic flow.
