The city of Wooster is planning to make improvements to the infrastructure that supplies water to its industrial park.  According to legislation passed by city council this week, an $80,000 project will see three pumps, motors and pump controllers replaced at the Melrose booster station.  The project will increase the station’s pump capacity by roughly 400 gallons per minute, from 600 to 1,000.  The city says the increased capacity is needed as the businesses in its industrial park, such as Daisy Brand, have a higher demand for water.
