The city of Wooster has reached an agreement with a firefighter who was fired from his job late last year.  Brandon Hewitt filed a grievance over his termination last November, which came after 13 years on the job, and stemmed from allegations that he abused sick leave and violated the fire department’s COVID quarantine policies.  As part of his settlement with the city, Hewitt will have his termination rescinded, receive back pay and be placed on paid administrative leave, with full salary and benefits, for the next year.
