The Wooster City Schools School Board held a special meeting Monday to try and find a new board member to fill the seat left by Hillary Carroll, but no candidate was able to garner the necessary votes to be elected. A total of 26 candidates applied for the open seat on the School Board, with three being nominated for position, but none were able to garner a majority of votes during the session. The decision on who becomes the next school board member now moves to the Wayne County probate court, who will make the final decision.
