Voters sound no to the Wooster City Schools attempt at passing a major bond issue.  The 6.7 mill bond issue to build new schools failed by a vote count of 4,414 against the bond issue, while 1,227 voted in favor.

The revenue request would have helped fund a $102 million master facilities plan that includes building two new schools — a sixth-eighth-grade building on the campus of Wooster High School and a preschool through second-grade building on the Cornerstone Elementary School property.
