The city of Wooster is buying a duplex on East Henry Street so that it can tear the building down.  The city says that demolishing the duplex, which is located next to an alley near the Wooster Community Center, should improve sight lines for drivers pulling out of that alley.  At its meeting this week, city council approved spending $60,000 to buy the building, along with an additional $20,000 for demolition costs and environmental remediation.  The sale is expected to close by the end of the month.
