Wooster Youth Basketball enters 45th year

Wooster Youth Basketball is celebrating its 45th year. The program, run and started by the Wooster Rec Department in 1975, started with 8 teams and has expanded to 120 total teams from all over Wayne and Holmes Counties. There are also 10 more teams for first and second grade teams now operated by the rec department that play at the Gault Rec Center, all beginning with three weeks’ worth of clinics that help to introduce players to the basic skills of the game.
