The Salvation Army in Wooster is in the process of creating a day center for the homeless. The center, which will be open weekdays, from 9:30am to 3pm, will serve as a hub where the homeless can come to get a hot meal, take a shower, do laundry and have access to the internet. The Salvation Army is currently working to secure funding for the project and says the hope is to have the center open by the fall.
