Wooster City Schools Superintendent Michael Tefs says that a football coach at Edgewood Middle School has tested positive this past week for COVID-19. Initial reports said that it was a middle school student that had the positive test, but Tefs clarified the information with two letters that were sent out to parents. He noted that the coach was not recently in any contact with any players or coaches. The middle school football season was initially suspended, but Tefs said on Saturday that football activities could resume.
